Tour Overview
Chidambaram is one of the most important Shiva temples in India — the place where the Lord is worshipped as Nataraja, the cosmic dancer, and as the formless space of the Chidambara Rahasyam.
This two-day tour gives you both evening and early-morning darshan at the Nataraja Temple, which many devotees consider essential. On the second morning, visit the fierce Thillai Kali Amman Temple at the edge of town, before heading to Sirkazhi — birthplace of the child-saint Thirugnanasambandar — and Vaitheeswaran Kovil, the Navagraha temple for Angaraka.
The tour can easily be extended into the Navagraha circuit or the Kumbakonam temples.

Journey to Chidambaram
Madurai → Tiruchirappalli → Kumbakonam → Chidambaram
Morning pickup and drive towards the Kaveri delta. Arrive in Chidambaram in the afternoon. Evening darshan of Lord Nataraja and the Govindaraja Perumal shrine. Overnight in Chidambaram.

Chidambaram, Vaitheeswaran Kovil and return
Chidambaram → Sirkazhi → Vaitheeswaran Kovil → Madurai
Early-morning darshan at the Nataraja Temple, followed by the Thillai Kali Amman Temple. Drive to Sirkazhi and Vaitheeswaran Kovil (Angaraka) before the return journey.
