Tour Overview
For many families, a visit to Rameswaram is a once-in-a-lifetime pilgrimage — often undertaken to perform rites for ancestors, or to fulfil a long-held vow. This tour gives Rameswaram the time it deserves.
The focus is the Ramanathaswamy Temple, one of the twelve Jyotirlingas. You arrive with enough time for evening darshan on the first day, and the second morning is devoted to the traditional sequence: the sea bath at Agni Theertham, the bath with water from the temple’s sacred theerthams, and darshan.
Afterwards, visit the island’s other sacred sites — the Panchamukhi Hanuman Temple, the Kothandaramaswamy Temple associated with Vibhishana, and Dhanushkodi, where the island ends in a narrow strip of sand between two seas.

Madurai → Ramanathapuram → Pamban → Rameswaram
Pickup and drive to Rameswaram, crossing the Pamban bridge. Check in, rest and attend evening darshan at the Ramanathaswamy Temple. Overnight in Rameswaram.

Holy bath, rituals and island sites
Rameswaram → Dhanushkodi → Madurai
Early-morning sea bath at Agni Theertham, the bath at the temple theerthams and darshan. Time for tarpanam or other rituals if planned. Visit the Panchamukhi Hanuman Temple, Kothandaramaswamy Temple and, if access permits, Dhanushkodi. Return journey.
