Tiruchirappalli — Trichy — is home to three of the most important temples in Tamil Nadu, each within a short drive of the others. This tour brings them together in a single well-paced day.
The highlight is Srirangam, the foremost of the 108 Divya Desams and one of the largest functioning temples in the world. Close by is the Jambukeswarar Temple at Thiruvanaikaval — the water element among the Pancha Bhoota Sthalams. In the afternoon, the tour continues to the Samayapuram Mariamman Temple, one of the state’s most visited Amman shrines.
